`dD Multimedia´ ha sido la encargada de realizar un tour virtual por la exposición ‘Suma y Sigue del disseny a la Comunitat Valenciana’ del Impiva y que puede visitarse en el MuVim hasta el 29 de noviembre.
`dD Multimedia´ has been commissioned to do the virtual tours for the design exhibition ‘Onwards and Upwards of Valencian Community Design’ by Impiva, which can be seen at MuVim until the 29th November at it is available at www.impivadisseny.es
The virtual tour is made up of a total of fourteen 360º photographs and tries to review some of the most important designs which have been carried out within the Valencian Community in the last few years by means of 250 objects in an area of 450 sq. metres. Dd Multimedia’s panoramic photographs captures the exhibition with extraordinary quality since the images have been taken using HDRI technology in order to take in the whole light spectrum of the image given the high light contrast of the exhibition halls.
Besides the panoramic photographs, six enlargeable images have been taken, each with 33,000 pixels, thus allowing the cyber-visitor to get a close up view of the exhibition’s murals and see details of the exhibits as well as the texts on them.
The virtual tour is completed with other multimedia elements such as two embedded videos with directional sound and a podcast in four languages (Spanish, Valencian, English and Italian), which can be downloaded via iTunes and is a useful introduction to the exhibition.
This virtual tour of the Onwards and Upwards of Valencian Community Design gives an added value to the exhibition proper since those that cannot attend the exhibition for one reason or another are able to enjoy the exhibits as close up and as real as is possible. Moreover, it is also very useful to catalogue and document the exhibition for the archives once it has been taken down.
